    A: Yes we understand your idea. Unfortunately checkout session got cleaned on checkout success. So you will not be able to get address data after order was placed.

    A: Thank you for nice feedback! You can edit default newsletter checkbox value at app\design\frontend\default\default\template\firecheckout\checkout\review.phtml. Unfortunately right now there is no such config option yet.

    A: Can you test order process with firecheckout turned off? Firecheckout is based on same controllers and models that default magento checkout is based on. So it should no affect checkout speed at all.One of our clients already faced same problem. It was caused by large number of orders in database and little resources dedicated to hosting account. Issue was solved by upgrading serve memory.
